APIEx recently concluded the successful 3rd run of its Membership Accreditation Course on 18 April 2024.
The Course provided an introduction to the world of experts and expert evidence and examines the role of evidence in disputes resolution, both in the courts and before other tribunals such as arbitral tribunals. Participants were acquainted with the law relating to opinion evidence (expert testimony), the role of experts in dispute resolution and the relevant Singapore law applicable to expert evidence. In this intake, we also offered 2 Specialist Tracks which focused on the specific nuances of giving evidence as a marine expert and a finance/valuation expert.
The results of the examination are out and we congratulate our 33 most recent graduates on their successful completion of the course!
